Strategic Consulting for International Higher Education
Bridging the Gap Between International Ambition and US Educational Excellence
Empowering institutions in the United Arab Emirates, the Middle East, and South America to achieve world-class accreditation and seamless 2+2/3+1 articulation with top-tier U.S. universities.
Our Value Proposition
-
For Institutions: We transform local curricula into globally recognized gateways through rigorous alignment and transparency audits.
-
For Students: We ensure every credit earned at home, from Dubai to Bogotá, is recognized as a valid step toward a U.S. degree.
-
For Global Partners: We provide a pipeline of pre-vetted, academically prepared talent from the world's most dynamic markets.
About Us
Our Story Headquartered in the academic heart of Livingston, Alabama, Ascend Global Pathways (AGP) was founded by Dr. Mark Davis and Dr. Mustafa Morsy and then partnered with Dr. Ahmed Elsalous. We observed a recurring failure in international education: the "Compliance Gap." We saw brilliant students and institutions held back by administrative misalignment and accrediting hurdles. AGP was created to be the bridge.
Our Mission
To empower international educational institutions by aligning their academic frameworks with global standards, ensuring that academic merit is portable and universally respected.
Global Reach, Local Authority
While we are based in the U.S., our focus is specialized. We understand the specific regulatory nuances of:
-
The UAE & Dubai: Navigating the federal Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) 2019 Standards and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) frameworks in Dubai.
-
The Middle East: Aligning with Ministry of Education frameworks and national visions (e.g., Saudi Vision 2030).
-
South America: Translating national accreditation successes into the language of U.S. regional accreditors (SACSCOC).
SERVICES in HIGHER EDUCATION
Target: Universities, Colleges, and Technical Institutes
Curriculum Alignment & SACSCOC/CAA Compliance
We audit curricula to ensure they meet the 135-clock-hour standard required for 3-credit courses. We align your "Time-on-Task" definitions with the U.S. Federal Credit Hour and UAE CAA Standards.
Faculty Credentialing & Matrix Development
We help your institution satisfy SACSCOC Standard 6.2.a. We map your faculty’s graduate credits to U.S. teaching disciplines, ensuring every instructor meets the "18-hour rule" for their assigned subject.
International Program Evaluation & Accreditation Support
We provide benchmarks against global quality standards (SACSCOC, AACSB, ABET).
-
Gap Analysis: Identifying what is missing for international recognition.
-
Strategic Roadmap: A step-by-step path to achieving institutional licensure and program accreditation.
Institutional Transparency Audits
We conduct deep-dive audits of your digital presence (web transparency, governance disclosures, and academic registries) to ensure your institution passes the rigorous "due diligence" phase of potential U.S. partners.
SERVICES in INTERNATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLS
Target: Private High Schools, IB World Schools, and Academies
Dual Enrollment & Early Pathway Strategy
We establish agreements that allow your students to earn university credits recognized by U.S. partners while still in high school, providing them with a head start on their international degree.
U.S. Admissions & Portfolio Branding
We help your counseling office present transcripts and school profiles in the specific formats that U.S. admissions officers recognize and trust.
Academic Integrity Training
We provide specialized workshops for students and staff on international academic integrity standards, mitigating the risks of plagiarism and unauthorized collaboration before students transition to global campuses.

We understand the Ministry of Education requirements across the region. We help institutions bridge the gap between regional success and the international visibility required for global partnerships.

We specialize in translating the rigor of national accreditation systems in countries like Colombia, Chile, and Brazil into the specific compliance language required by U.S. Regional Accrediting bodies.
TESTIMONIALS
United World Education (UAE)
"AGP’s understanding of the CAA standards and their intersection with U.S. regional accreditation was the missing piece in our internationalization strategy. They helped us bridge the gap between our local mission and our global ambitions."
Director of Internationalization (South America)
"The Institutional Transparency Audit performed by AGP was a turning point for our university. They helped us achieve the international visibility required for our first 3+1 partnership in the United States."
